Yes, it is true. For those of you who haven’t seen or heard, above is the new logo for Stevenson University Athletics. It was only a matter of time before the NCAA Division III Department branched off from the University and came up with a way to make it personal to the athletes. This new logo will be featured on all athletic apparel, fields, and equipment. It is even on the brand new football helmets! Watch out, we’re coming!

2nd Annual Crab Feast September 21, 2010

Crabs seem like the only tradition we have here in Maryland and there is no better way to celebrate the ending of summer than digging my hands into freshly seasoned crabs here at good ole’ SU. This year, the 2nd annual Crab Feast was sponsored by MAP, Active Minds, and the Residence Hall Association. All of the groups came together to provide students, faculty, staff, and friends with 8 crabs, and 8 wings for only $8!!! What a steal! The best part was, I didn’t have to clean up a thing, and of course, the food was beyond delicious. I must say, I am an avid crab lover! Check out this photo of me from Ocean City this summer!

I’M BACK!
Hello my dearest readers and welcome back to my blog
I know it has not been updated in a while and I’m sure most of you are wondering what I have been up to since my last blog on Mother’s Day. Well I’m here to tell you that summer is over and I am in my 4th week of classes already at Stevenson! However, like most students, I did not get the whole summer off from SU! On my birthday, June 21 for those who don’t know, I flew to San Diego California with an advisor and a few other Residence Hall Association E-board members. We were flown out to a conference, otherwise known as NACURH. Not only was San Diego breath-taking, I enjoyed learning about RHA as an organization and what we can do better here at Stevenson so students receive the events they ask for! It was a fun time!
Other than NACURH, I spent my summer working at Charlotte Russe and cooking for my family. I also went on vacation to ocean city with a couple of girlfriends from Stevenson! We returned just in time for me to come back to school for Resident Assistant training.
Overall, I had a wonderful summer and I am excited to be back and writing again in my blog. Already this year so much has happened! So check back in the next few days to get caught up with the latest information from Stevenson University
