As I have been saying, the end of the year is near and we are all starting to finish the year with a bang – including Residence Life. Tonight was the third annual RA Soiree, hosted by the Residence Life Professional Staff. Claire Moore and Bob Mikus were also present and gave wonderful speeches about how appreciated we all are as Resident Assistants. And I must say, this year, being my first, has been a rough year but an enjoyable one. Anyway, the theme was the Kentucky Derby and it was spectacular. The decorated Ratcliffe Community Center was brought to life for 2 hours with nonstop food, awards, and fun. I was actually nominated for New RA of the Year! I was so excited and am even more excited to hear who won the rest of the awards at the Leadership Banquet on Friday!
