End of the Year Packing May 1, 2010

Packing is the worst. It takes me weeks to unpack everything into my room and get settled in for the year and as soon as I know it, the year comes to an end. So this morning, I woke up and realized I needed to start packing now so I don’t have to take everything home at once. Boy am I glad I started too! I have so much stuff in my dorm! Everything from cooking materials to trinkets hanging on my wall, I have it all. I even found stuff I didn’t know I had – whoops! However, although I do hate packing, I am excited to be done with classes and move home to my pool for the summer and have time to relax after this very hectic year. I have about three-fourths of my stuff packed and already I’m stressing out about where it is going to go when I get home!
But, Stevenson University is doing something totally awesome. We have been granted a huge storage “bin” if you will that we will be packing up and sending over to Haiti. Everything you don’t want or need anymore can be set aside and given to help those in need! Pretty cool, huh? I thought so! I found a bunch of stuff that I can give to Haiti and I know you can to. So don’t wait – start packing now!
