An (un)Pleasant Surprise December 9, 2009
Posted by Marina in : Winter 2009-2010 , trackbackSnow… during finals?! Needless to say, many students across the board were panicking that our finals would have to be pushed back an entire day because of the unexpected snow fall that began last night around 8 p.m. Although some students seemed to be over-joyed with the phenomenon, others were worried about travel arrangements and of course… their finals. Our grades depend on our finals that are generally worth 25% of our grade. However, we were not the only one’s surprised by the snow – the news stations that continuously called for rain showers throughout the evening were found scattered about the Owings Mills area trying to update their false presumptions. Here is a picture I took during the snowfall of a news crew trying to capture this breaking story!

Fortunate enough for Stevenson University students, we woke up to rain falling and snow quickly melting. Finals were on!
