At Camp Puh’tok!

Who says being an Elementary Education major isn’t fun?  Yesterday, my fourth grade class from Cedarmere Elementary School took a field trip to the Native American inspired Camp Puh’tok.  The students were given the rules for the day and then went off to their activities.  I helped chaperone a group of 12 children, all very enthusiastic to get started.  The students played native american games, learned how to use their weapons and tools, built a fire, got their war paint on and made some custom jewelry.  It was so much fun for me and the children.  I hope they go on another field trip very very soon!
