Old-Fashion Family Fun October 27, 2008

Happy (almost) Halloween!  This weekend I went home to do the traditional, or what we call traditional fun activities at the Warrenfeltz household.  In the spirit of the season, we gathered around the front porch and did something I adore – carve pumpkins.  Lame to some, but pretty sweet to my family and I.  My Dad’s and his girlfriend Sue’s pumpkins are in the top picture, and Tylor and my pumpkins are in the bottom. :)

Pretty awesome right?  Well aside from getting our hands grimy with digging for pumpkin seeds and then carving, we did do some clean activities.  Tylor and I took a walk to find acorns… but ended up chasing each other around like five year olds.

Later that evening we ate dinner and stuffed little candy bags.  Dad always puts old candy in them…. to show kids the true meaning of “trick” or “treat.”  It’s quite hilarious.  And then… last but not least – we watched It’s The Great Pumpkin – Charlie Brown.  It’s the first in the holiday series and I cannot WAIT for Thanksgiving and Christmas!!!
