Sand Volleyball: Mission Completed October 8, 2008

Posted by Marina in : Fun Events, General , trackback

FINALLY!  The sidewalks are open, and the sand is flyin’.  After some last minute adjustments to the new sand volleyball area, students were having a blast doing something new yesterday.  There was a group of boys jumping, and laughing, and serving – just having the time of their lives.  One guy even wanted to play so bad – that he left his cute little white dog leashed to the construction fence poles!  Little did he know, his dog got more attention than he did – as we walked by hearing “OMG he’s so cute – I’m taking him with me!”  The boy grinned and said “No, no.”  It was adorable to say the least.  But it’s fun to just go out, put your feet in the sand, and do something fun and new (to the Stevenson campus).  Take a group of friends… Or join in with people already down there.  If you aren’t interested in playing, it’s always a good time sitting, relaxing, and watching the boys play some… ‘beach volleyball.’

So sit back, or kick it up, and enjoy :)

There’s always people out there playing. My friend Danielle is in Intramural Volleyball and I went to their first game on Friday. It was fun and cold. lol.
