Monday Night Football – SU Style. October 6, 2008
Posted by Marina in : Sports , trackbackTonight as I walked back from getting food with my friend Maria, I noticed something new… football. A pack of boys, coming from all different dorms gathering in the suites quad to play there own game of Monday night football. Now I know you’re probably thinking – SU doesn’t have a football team. Correct. But, coming within the next few years, one day we will have a football team… Maybe not next year – but soon!
So prospective students – even though there may not be a football team quite yet – gather up your gear and your pals and check out SU. If the boys here have that kind of passion for football without an established team, imagine the dedication and drive that will be put forth when we finally get a team.
At the end of the game – the boys walked away with smiles on their faces and dirt on their jeans. It was like they returned to a part of their youth, and loved every second of it. Hopefully this Monday Night football extravaganza in the quad wasn’t the last.
